Still disoriented from the intense emotions coursing through him, Kieran’s release caught him by surprise, slamming into him and rolling him under a tide of unimaginable pleasure until he wasn’t sure he’d survive it.
When he finally floated back down to earth, he found himself on his back with Lynk draped over him like a living blanket. “I love you, sugar.”
“And I love you back, Kieran. I’m so lucky to have found you again.”
Kieran knew the truth, though. He was the lucky one. Even though he’d fucked things up in his last go-round, fate had deemed him worthy of a second chance. He wouldn’t take it for granted, either, cherishing it each and every day as the gift that it was. As the gift that Lynk was.

They’d fight. Kieran would probably find himself in the doghouse on more than a few occasions. More people would be coming for Lynk, and none of them would come with friendly intentions.
There was also the matter of finding the man who had sired his nephews. While part of him just wanted to sweep the whole thing under the rug and forget about it, he knew none of them would rest Flawless 149
easy until they had some answers. He also knew that meant he was going to have to suck it up and contact Alpha Taylor of the Cloud Peak Pack to help him. It could wait for another day, though.
In that one special moment with Lynk, beneath the moon and stars, surrounded by the forest and cocooned together—right at that very second—Kieran’s universe was flawless.
